From the Desk of the Associate Vice President of Advancement:

Benedictine University is blessed with a rich history and tradition — a history developed by our founders and a tradition fostered by our faculty, staff, students and alumni. Our successful history and strong reputation has allowed our institution to grow and expand in ways our founders may have not dreamed imaginable. However, because of a clear vision and worthy mission, we continue to grow and expand our reach.

During the past several years, despite an economic climate that the field of philanthropic giving has not seen before, our supporters have increased their charitable giving to Benedictine University. Our donors are passionate and committed to the success of our students and our campus. Additionally, because of our growth and the increase in charitable gifts, we have seen a need to expand our Advancement operations.

Beginning this year, each of our five academic colleges and the Department of Athletics will have a dedicated Advancement Officer to work with donors in matching their philanthropic support with the respective college’s vision and priorities. Our Advancement staff will actively engage our alumni, parents, friends and corporate partners to build lasting and effective relationships in support of our colleges and the entire University.
