Founded in 2011, the Benedictine University Oblates of St. Benedict recognizes the University’s most generous contributors. 

Gifts from members of the Oblates of St. Benedict stand as an example for others by encouraging our students, inspiring our faculty, expanding our programs, enhancing our campus life and advancing in countless other ways the goals of the University and those it serves. 

Membership in the Oblates of St. Benedict honors your total lifetime giving to Benedictine University. As your support continues and grows, your cumulative giving will be recognized at higher levels of the society. All types of gifts – cash contributions, securities, property – will be acknowledged toward your membership in the society.  Whether you make one gift or many, your philanthropic leadership will be honored as it achieves each level.

Members of the Oblates of St. Benedict are distinguished as members of special donor societies. Below are the Oblates of St. Benedict Giving Society levels:

• St. Benedict Society: Those who have given $100,000 in their lifetime.
• Abbot Society: Those who have given $50,000 in their lifetime.
